Travelling to and from Turku

Airport, harbour, bus terminal, and railway stations makes Turku an ideal starting point for any Nordic adventure.

By Air

It's fast and easy to fly from the compact-sized Turku International Airport, which is located only 8 kilometres (20 minutes) from the city centre. More flight connections are also available from Helsinki-Vantaa airport, located ca. 2,5 hours bus ride from Turku.

By Sea

All aboard to Turku! We are not far from Sweden and there are several daily ferry departures between Stockholm/Kapellskär and Turku, with a stop in Åland Islands. The Turku city centre is only 3 kilometres (10 minutes) from the port.

By Land

Whether you choose to travel by bus or train, the ride from Tampere or Helsinki to Turku is not only comfortable but a quick one: it takes just under two hours! The city centre is only 1 kilometre (5 minutes) from Turku Central Railway Station and Bus Terminal.
